Former member of Highway Church

As a former member of the Greater Highway Church, I have to admit that I am disappointed, NOT SHOCKED, but disappointed that this is STILL going on. None of you are the first. This has been going on for years, upon years. Women coming to the church accusing and telling that they have been with him, some pregnant, some with their child sleeping in their arms. All accusing Liston Jr. of being their baby's daddy or saying that they have been sleeping with him. Some have traveled from other states to the NY church to expose him on a Sunday morning when he would be in the pulpit. See, this started long before he even had his own church, long before he was a Bishop, this was going on back in the day when he was plain old Liston Jr. No title. I am an old lady now and I have been around a long, long time and I heard many things, but I have SEEN even more with my own two eyes.

It is disgraceful that he (or any man in his office) is doing this to young women. How can he be an example when he doesn't even live the life he preaches about? The Bible says what you do in the dark WILL come to light and you will be brought to an open shame. Now, I don't have much sympathy for some of the women. Some of them know what they are doing. But there are some of them really don't know what's going on. But the ones that know he's married with children, the shame isn't just on him, it's on them too. They are so busy seeking status and recognition, that they will get it at any cost. These women don't care if they go down in history as one of Liston's hoes. All they care about it is the fact that they slept with him. There are some that are oblivious to the fact that he is married, but they know he is a Bishop, a man of the pulpit and in that regard they shouldn't be so fast to pull they panties off for a Bishop, or any man of the pulpit if it aint they own husband. So where I do feel a little something for them, I dont feel that much. He can't keep whoring around if no one sleeps with him. That isn't to defend him, it is just plain ole common sense. If women will stop be charmed by him and WAKE UP and see him for what he really is and stop falling into bed with him, he couldn't keep doing this. But there are just some women out there that don't care about destroying the house of God.

I just pray that none of this affects his father, Bishop Liston Page Sr. and the reputation he has worked so hard for so many years to build. His father is a wonderful man and I just wish that Liston Jr. would consider the effect this could have on his father and his father's ministry.
